Reset to factory preset

Hi

I have a Machine MK3. And I have been struggling with the midi note recording. It seems that I have to go to Groups, input and select drumkid to record the whole path into my daw. I have also tried to set it to C3, and set it to midi mode, witch doesn't work. Further I tried to find af way to reset to factory preset, but only cum up with support form MK1. Would be thankful if any of you could help me out.

From what I could find out then (on Maschine generally) : Click EDIT to create a new template with default settings, or Check this page.

Also : Quote Blindeddie July 2022 :

There Is no reset for the MK3, you cannot change its functionality for use with the Maschine software.

You should be able to assign each group to its own “External” output, then assign the input of the tracks in Reaper to those outputs. And don’t worry about Messing up Maschine, the output assignments are Project based not Global, so the next time you insert the routing will be the default. You can create a Template that has the routing saved in it And then set that to load as default when you load Maschine as a plugin (you set that up in preferences)
