Copy midi from Logic into Maschine2?

Is there a simpler way to import midi data into Maschine from Logic than exporting the selection as a midi file & then importing it into Maschine?
I use Maschine as part of my live setup, so work quite a bit with midi loops & was hoping to just be able to highlight the midi in a loop, copy it & then open Maschine2 & paste it. Sadly, it doesn't seem to work like that.

Cheers, G

Unfortunately, dragging and dropping in this direction is not possible, you can only import MIDI files. YOu can do the opposite though, dragging and dropping a Maschine pattern to Logic, but that does not help much your case and workflow, I'm afraid.

Thanks Jeremy. It's not a major issue, but maybe a thought for a future update.
I use Maschine as a live tool rather than a recording tool. Still learning it, as I've only had it for 5 months.
