Is there no launch quantization in Maschine?

I'm used to this in Ableton, a quantization of the launch of a clip.

At the moment, every time I select a clip it doesn't start from the beginning, it just carries on wherever the cursor happens to be.

I can't believe it doesn't exist but I'm damned if I can find it.

No info online so far…

If you're referring to patterns then no, there isn't. Clips are something different in the Maschine universe.

It's been at the top of the most asked for features since Maschine was born and it still hasn't been forthcoming. Further more if you have patterns of different bar lengths in a session, say one with 4 bars and another with 8, when you trigger the next pattern with 8 bars it starts on bar 4 and not from the beginning of the pattern. Really have no idea why NI haven't addressed this.

Theres only launch/sync options for Scenes and Sections, it's in the top bar.

Ideas View compared to Ableton Session view is super duper basic.

I love this thing. It's a game changer for me ( being able to play and not have to open a daw. But the software sucks…
