is there a way I can install a version of tractor on my recently purchased Mac OS sonoma
Traktor Pro 3.10.0 and higher is compatible with Sonoma so it should be available to download and install in the latest version of Native Access as long as you have a licence for it. The latest Native Access is available to download here - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/
pro 2 will only work with mojave correct?
Traktor Pro 2 is supported up to macOS 10.13 High Sierra. But even if Traktor Pro 2 would run on Catalina (or even newer macOS versions.) The first gen S4 will not work with Catalina or newer. It needs a driver which isn‘t available for macOS beyond Mojave. The S4 Mk1 would even work fine with Traktor Pro 3 as long as it works with the operating system. As older versions of TP3 support 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra and 10.14 Mojave the S4 Mk1 will work with TP3 on these versions of macOS.
