Maschine workflow vs....

Anyone here have or has had an Akai MPC and Maschine?
I have an MPC One. It does all that I need it to do, but I'm not the biggest fan of the Akai workflow.
I don't know anyone that owns Maschine, so I've never used it.
If you have used both, which do you prefer? I really don't want to light any $ on fire if the general consensus is that the MPC workflow is concidered 'better' than Maschine.
I know this is all very subjective. Just curious though.
Might not matter too much but this is how I use the gear when I play:
4 traktor decks, xone96 (this stays home. most gigs these days are through v10) MPC One, Roland TR8S, Behringer td3mo & sometimes Roland JP-8000.

I have both, and they each have their good and bad points. I had the Maschine+ first, and still use that more than my MPC - but I have a history with Akai (since the S900) so have a lot of Akai samples.

I think the choice of expansions from NI is better than from Akai (which is almost entirely hip hop) but I do prefer the way Akai release their plugins - desktop and standalone, which is where NI can't compete.
