I am a iMaschine and iMaschine2 user and must say these apps are the best versions of Maschine I have ever used. There is just something way overcomplicated about the desktop version. I am extremely interested in utilizing my Maschine Mikro MK3 on iPhone and iPad but so far only the KORG padKONTROL is working. The iPhone and iPad refuses to recognize the Maschine even with iMaschine running. Is there a good reason why NI's software development on iOS is so lacking? IMO iOS is the leading platform for making music.

Sorry PoorFellow but they have discontinued iMaschine completely, never gave it MIDI support, and never made my Maschine Mikro MK3 compatible with iOS. It's a nightmare.

    That's quite a hot take.

The iPhone and iPad refuses to recognize the Maschine even with iMaschine running.

Maschine controllers aren't "fully MIDI class-compliant" meaning they require drivers to be installed in order to work, the drivers exist for Windows and Mac only - I am not even sure if custom drivers for iOS/iPadOS are a thing that Apple allows.

If you need a Pad controller for iOS/iPadOS or even Android you should look outside NI.
