Hi I just bought an old Traktor Kontrol S4 mk1 and downloaded the DJ2 software but they won't work together. I downloaded the drivers and everything but nothing seems to work. I didn't want to buy the pro 3 software just yet until I see if I like djing. Help.

Traktor DJ 2 only works with the mk2 version of the s4. It's also dead software that has not been updated in years.

You can use the 30 minutes Demo of Traktor 3 Pro over and over again.

Mixxx might support the s4 mk1, not sure. It's free software.

You can ask from whoever you bought the controller if he will transfer the license to you.

Keep in mind s4 mk1 will not work on modern Mac OS computers.

Thanks for the reply, I bought it from CEX so no software included. I'll try the demo thanks.
