BPM Halving Sync
Is there a BPM halving option like in DJ PRO?
Where the software will go to the logical sync setting?
If you have a track at 88 and another track at 180... instead of pushing the track up 102 percent it will make the track at 88 go to 90 and thus half the tempo of the 180 track but still in sync...
DJ Pro does this and I find it logical and useful...
Is this a setting or feature in Traktor?
Thanks
Sacco

No, unfortunately this is not possible with Traktor. We're still stuck at halving ( /2 ) and doubling ( x2 ) the tempo. My workaround #1 is a bit complicated: Titles like your example exist twice in my library. Once at 88 BPM and once at 176 BPM. My workaround #2 is to change the tempo while playing in the Grid section ( /2 ) + ( x2 ) and return it to its original state after the transition...

Yeah thanks...so I'm not crazy? I do that on occasion too.. but thought that it would be a nice software feature to have

You are not crazy and the devs think the same:
This request totally makes sense and is on our todo list for a very long time. Thanks for bringing it up again. This will allow us to prioritize this feature correctly.
That said it does not mean it will be implemented.
