Tech Support Unresponsive So . . . .

I recently purchased the latest upgrade to Kontakt, "Kontakt 7." I received the download but keep getting a message asking if I won't to install an older version of the newer version that's already installed. Makes no sense to me and I have not been able to make the new instruments play, even though it indicates that they ARE installed. (Also, what does "Open" mean when it should say "Installed?" Please help. Very frustrating that I have not yet received any support contacts after reaching out to NI.
