OK, I have been a Kontakt user for a number of years. I have built a great multi that receives midi data from Cakewalk and then plays through my Presonus board. all good.
Over the years I've bought new laptops and installed Kontakt using my library of samples.
It has always worked like a charm. I just got a new laptop Windows 11 and have done everything like I've done in the past, but I keep getting a message in Kontakt when trying to load my multi.
It says, "This Instrument belongs to a library that is not installed currently".
I have used Native Access 2 to download Kontakt 5, 6, and 7 and all my libraries and I have entered all the serial numbers and checked for updates and even did a batch re scan. All my samples are right where they have always been in my Public Documents. I went through every folder and all the sample folders are good. I found a page in the forum were they gave a couple suggestions and tried those and still am getting the message. I have a few other laptops and this multi works just fine in all those. Everything on this new laptop seems to match up with my other laptops which work fine.
I did uninstall and reinstalled Kontakt 7, even tried Kontakt's 5 and 6
Anyone out there that has had this issue and found a fix, help please.
