Thanks everyone for their support and comments

I spent all day yesterday reinstalling all the products into Kontakt and everything seems to be ok now

Took a long time and I hope it doesn't happen again, what ever it was !

    Thanks again

You may not need to reinstall everything, but you do need to provide some more information...

Are you on Mac or PC? What is your operating system? Which version of Native Access are you using? Which products do you have? Where are they installed?

If you're seeing any messages on screen, where are you seeing them, and what (exactly) do they say?

    Post screen shots as necessary.

Im on a Mac running Ventura 13.6.1. Everything was working fine this morning

Just tried to reinstall Action Strings 2 which took an hour and then came up Installation Failed.

Well you answered two questions, that's a start. 😀

Why are you reinstalling, if you've previously installed and everything was working?

I can just about make out the text in that small image, which instructs you to click locate. Did you do so?

Yes, tried the locate function but it says the library path is incorrect

I'm on the latest version of Native Access

Is the path an external drive ? Apparently then Mac is capable of really screwing up external drive attaching , ref. here !

Otherwise then apparently more users have had severe mishaps lately so you if you are one of those then maybe you just ought to contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support !

Yes, everything on an external SSD

Ah, now info is coming forward. I did ask earlier where the products were installed, but didn't get an answer.

@PoorFellow that post you linked to, with the external drive info, should be voted up. That's useful stuff.

Thank you 🙂 , yes ! , but if there is a way of doing that then I am not experienced enough here to know that yet ! 🤔

@andycarney If you open Kontakt in standalone do the libraries show or not?

How do these libraries show in Native Access?

Have you changed the name of the drive, even by accident?

What is the format of the external hard drive? Please right click and choose Get Info and check format:

I saw the “Repair” flag on 265 libraries after installing the Kontakt 7 Version 7.10.2 “update”. 60 libraries did NOT display the Repair flag. This happened after running the Kontakt 7 installer.

To me it looks like Native Access 3.10.3 (f6d63dd / 1.17.2.0) is DISPLAYING the “Repair” flag but INSTALLING the Kontakt 7 Version 7.10.2 update CAUSED the Repair flag warning to appear. Some libraries flagged as “Repair” seem to play normally in Kontakt 7 even thought they have NOT been reinstalled.

Although I haven’t thoroughly researched the “Repair” libraries actual (not as reported by Native Access) locations this problem may only require an automated (not user-corrupted manual edit) reset of the Repair flags. I came to this conclusion while anticipating reinstalling 265 libraries…

Finder reported location of Analog Dreams files: /Volumes/SSDGlyph1 1/NIKontent/Analog Dreams Library/PAResources

Analog Dreams (flagged as “Repair”) location: /Volumes/SSDGlyph1/NIKontent/Analog Dreams Library

MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOS 12.7.4 (21H1123), 2 external SSD library drives formatted as APSF (Apple no longer supports Mac OS Extended format), Native Access 3.10.3 (f6d63dd / 1.17.2.0), Kontakt 7 Version 7.10.2.

I had this happen to a few libraries, but it was only 5 or less, a few weeks ago. Ugh. I hope I don't boot up my MBP and see something like that. I think I'd just remove everything and move on, Lol. At this point, I don't use enough of it to bother.
