getting kontact is too old but it is up to date
Are you using Kontakt 6 or 7? If you are still on 6, they practically killed it by making many instruments (new and old) require Kontakt 7.
Even having Kontakt 6 updated won’t let you use the same instruments you were using before, since their latest versions now require Kontakt 7.

What’s the exact version number?
Also your OS and are you using Native Access 1 or the latest NA?

How do you update Kontakt 6 to 7? There is no option in Native Access 2 to do it or to download version 7.!
@johngigs Kontakt 7 Player is for free and should be available for you in Native Access, please make sure that you have the latest version of Native Access: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/
For our own libraries only the free version is needed. For some other third party libraries, the full version is needed, in this case you would need to buy Kontakt 7 as an update.
