crashing

kontakt free version operates just fine as stand alone but as soon as I try and open it in GarageBand my computer crashes and restarts. any solutions. got a Mac mini m2

    This is a bit generic tip that might help, but did you try updating GarageBand?

    OS version ? Kontakt free version ? GarageBand version ? What type exactly of Kontakt plugin are you using ?

    Most basic thing to check in a case like this is to check what is the audio drivers assigned to both your GarageBand and to you Kontakt free. I don't know anything about Mac sound drivers but on PC you will typically select a good ASIO driver and then use that for both DAW and Kontakt !

    @matt marioni Do you mean the whole computer crashes? Do you have a Kontrol Mk3 keyboard? Does the crash happen when the keyboard is disconnected?
