S61 MK3 Keyboard (single key) Issue

I’ve noticed the A#3 key on my lovely S61 MK3 keyboard has lost all its firmness and  resistance and for lack of a better word is ‘slumped’ compared to the other black keys i.e. it is sitting lower than the rest. ☹️The key still works but feels limp as it lacks that resistance and travels less when pressed. As far as I can tell aftertouch still works.

I’m not sure how it happened as l’ve only had it out the box about half a dozen times since buying it in January when I’ve had a day spare over the weekends to use it. Even then I hardly use the keyboard as I’ve been busy preset surfing and tagging my favourites. And I’m not agreesive in my keyboard playing. And when not in use it goes back in its box with all its original packaging. If I’d had it a few years I would put it down to wear and tear.

Although it may seem a minor issue to some; as it’s barely been used, for a midi keyboard that cost a considerable amount of money, I would have expected a better build quality and durability. I’ve not even experienced this with any of my other synths and midi keyboards ranging all the way up to 40 years old. And I am worried at some point the key will stop working all together at some point (probably the day after the warranty expires).

QUESTION: Rather than contacting the retailer I bought it from, online, to get it fixed or replaced (and probably involving a costly return via courier out of my own pocket), is there an easy fix to ‘re-sit’ the key without taking it apart or will it need to be returned?
