Latency when connecting a Kontrol Z1 to a S3 using the Line In

Hi , i habe some latency problems when using the Line In of my S3.
I would like to connect a Kontrol Z1 to the Line In of my Kontrol S3 (so that I can mix with a friend in parallel / he`s on the Z1, I`m on the S3). When I connect the Z1 to the Line In of my S3, the audio signal from the Z1 is unfortunately outputted from the S3 with a slight delay (delayed sound from the speakers connected to the S3).
So the user on the Z1 is hearing through his headphone the played track on the Z1 in realtime, but the sound coming from the speakers which are connected on the Kontrol S3 is delayed / not in sync. Is there a latency when using the Line In of the S3 in general or what can we do to fix the issue ?

There is latency for sure there is AD, processing and DA performed in S3 and Traktor. You may try to lower buffer size of audio interface in S3, but too low buffersize may bring crackels.

If that does not help, you may use analog mixer to mix S3 output with your friend's output.
