Kontakt 7.8.1 Player
Greetings. I want to ask you how to fix Kontakt version 7.8.1 Player. Yesterday I bought UNITY - Nostalgic Synth from AVA Music Group and ever since I've been working with it, every time I turn off and on the Kontakt 7 box in my DAW, the whole program crashes. Like Kontakt, so does FL Studio. Could you give me some advice? I forgot to add that I am a user of the free version of Kontakt.

Yep latest Nvidia drivers.
I think I have solved it, for me. I always have afterburner running, which also runs RTSS (Riva tuner)
Closing MSI Afterburner and riva tuner, seems to fix it in stand alone.
I am off to test it in Abelton now to see if it also fixes it there, I will report back..

Yes there are quite a few reports of Kontakt 7. I have it crashing ableton 10, 11 and 12. Every time I open it. 5 seconds later it crashes the whole DAW.
I sent in a bug report, NI said it was an error with the ntdll.dll process, which it is not, because I would have a lot of other programs crashing too, if this was a corrupt ntdll.dll file.
My logs I sent all pointed to: d3d11.dll.
I even did an In-place upgrade (reinstall of windows 11) so I have a fresh install, all .dll's should be good, and still this ****** is happening!!
Excuse the image size, this was much larger, what the hell is up with pictures on this forum, why cant they go full size!!! I hasve tried both .jpeg and .PNG still this ****** size, you probably can't read it. Im done!!

So its happening in both Daw and standalone:
Added it as a file too, so hopefully you can open it up @NA support

Something truly funky with this forum. I add the file, and its still really small. but its the same file size as it is here on my desktop, which is the full size screen shot.
What is up with your servers, are you deliberately reducing the file size, so that it is unreadable?????

That looks like it's an error in the graphics drivers somewhere. Are the drivers for your card up to date, and do they support Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0) rendering or above? You can check with the DxDiag tool.
Is the crash happening with just the one library or is it happening with the factory libraries too?

I am wondering if it has anything to do with havinf Rivatuner running. This was never an issue before?
I noticed the RTSS hook?

OK, just did a quick test. I closed Rivatuner, and ran kontakt standalone, usually changing a setting in the options triggered a crash before.
Now it seems ok.
I need to go and test this, running it in Ableton.
I really hope this is the cause!!

I have suffered this for weeks now. lol
Thank god!! I wonder if there is a way to still have rivatuner running, maybe a setting with in RTSS, where it does not hook into kontakt...
