I have a Numark M6 4 channel mixer and 2 Traktor X1's, i have been facing trouble establishing a proper connection between them and with traktor pro 2.5.
Any suggestions would helpful.
The x1 have no connection to the mixer. They just control traktor, much like a keyboard.
What exactly does not work? And did it ever work?
X1 mk1? What os are you running?
It's written a bit confusingly because you say in the title that you can't connect your X1's and then the text says that you can't connect Traktor 2.5 to your mixer, or am I misunderstanding something? How do you connect your mixer to Traktor if you don't connect the X1? Otherwise, as a single setup, does everything run the way you want? So if you only connect the X1 to your laptop or Traktor with the mixer for example.
You might be missing an external audio interface. It sounds like your mixer model can only output one stereo out (recording out)
Please post a pic of how your full setup looks like and also let us know what things you have already tried out.
Ah, Stevan is correct. That trash Numark M6 can only put the USB on a single channel :D
So to use it properly you need an audio interface.
Yeah, but he wants maybe mix internally and go with the master sum from Traktor to channel 3? That should work?
The thread tittle suggests it is external mixing mode. Adding the audio interface would be the best way to go.
