Thanks I resolved it by buying a new cable with a usb c and a usb a in each end an it worked perfectly, using the included cable as power cable instead worked fine.

Hi sorry, MacOS Monterey 12.7.3. Can´t get pass update process get stuck when trying to update firmware and get an error message saying An error occurred while updating your Kontrol s mk3

Some users have had problems updating that have been fixed by using a different USB port, or putting USB-C hub between the MK3 and the Mac. Give those a try if you can. If you still have problems I'd suggest putting in a support ticket as it might be a faulty unit.
