    Kontakt 7 will be compatible soon. Absynth is discontinued and will not get further udates. You can follow Sonoma compatibility here: macOS 14 Sonoma Compatibility Statement

    As mentioned by others already, even though Kontakt 7 is not officilally supported, it seems to work for most users.

    Can't speak for Kontakt 7, but Absynth... never. It was discontinued in September 2022 and didn't get Silicon treatment.

    One thing to note: Just because NI hasn't listed Kontakt 7 as Sonoma compatible yet, doesn't mean that it won't work at all. Many users here are reportedly having no issues running it under Sonoma. NI just can't guarantee it until their testing is completed.

    Absynth still works fine on Sonata you just need to have Rosetta installed

    Have you reached out for help? What problems are you having? What system? Loads of people are using Sonoma without issue, including me. I'm on an M2 Studio and the only major issue I'm facing is that audio previews don't work in Kontakt. Was kinda hoping that would be fixed in the latest update, but no such luck.

    If you're having problems, then by all means search the forum for similar issues, start a new thread if you can't find an answer. That's one of the main purposes of this forum.

    Glad to hear that Kontakt 7 will be compatible soon. I'll wait for the official word.

    Very sorry to hear of Absynth's demise. It's been my go-to noise machine for many years.

    I know this is not easy, but do you have some ETA for the following products as well? I have a new macbook pro sitting here for 3 months (unfortunately only comes with Sonoma) and don't wanna risk that I have several problems when I switch to that machine:

    • Komplete Audio 6
    • Komplete effects

    Thanks a lot, really appreciate it

    @Tomboman Regarding the Komplete Audio 6, since the drivers are plug and play, there should not be any issues with Sonoma.

    Trying to get info on when the effects will be compatible and will report back when I get the info.

    @Jeremy_NI Great, thank you!

    Oh, and I completely forgot about the Komplete Kontrol S88 MK3

    The audio interface didn't work with the first updates of Sonoma (tried on my private Mac), but since .3 or so it does work

    @Tomboman Regarding the MK3 keyboards, it's in the works. There's only one known issue when using the Kontakt plug-in in Logic on Sonoma, we're waiting on a fix from Apple's side. Ah fantastic, I tried on my private Mac, it actually works - Somehow I thought I read that it does not work at all.

    Cool, hopefully the rest will be official soon too!
