I use Audacity a lot. Always have. It is my go to for recording DJ sets. Fixing volume issues. Samples.

And now it will have some amazing features and as far as AI know it is still free.

These are not included when you update the software.

To install them you have to go here: https://plugins.audacityteam.org/ai-plugins/ai-plugins for the links, which takes you to github. Not yet found the downloads/install procedure...

And it's currently windows only.

For linux and maybe mac you have to build it yourself.

Finally got everything installed properly...

First impressions - Processing is very slow. Stem quality is average.

I still haven't checked it out. Lol. Busy doing cable management on my Dj and Studio area. The spiderweb of wires was unacceptable.

I’m always grateful to the spiderweb of cables in my studio (and they are A LOT).

At least mosquitoes get trapped there and don’t squat the interior of my abandoned big mixer and other deprecated HWs as free to use houses 😂

Yeah I need to spend less time worrying about aesthetic perfection. And focus more on getting some tracks and mixing done.
