I can hear the sounds but cannot record on the mahcine2 track in my Cubase setup.

I have connected the machine+ to my computer via usb. In cubase 11 pro - I have created a track with the machine2 software. When I hit the pads on the Machine+ I can hear the sounds and see the midi signal - but when I try to record on the track it wont record... however, if I use my komplete keyboard I can record... I wonder what the problem is...I want to use the Machine+ as a kind of midikeyboard and record it on a track.. Hope somebody can help..

Hello,

then you have to set maschine + to midi mode by pressing SHIFT+CHANNEL, you may need to load a midi template first but normally there is a"midi template 1" already loaded and you can use that, pressung the group buttons will switch through the oktaves.
