Is the M32 "Foot Pedal" Input Exclusively Assignable Only To Sustain?

Or can I assign it to anything in Ableton? Trying to build a loop pedal setup using Ableton and a pedal w/a MIDI controller that costs a fraction of these overpriced MIDI pedals. So far only the Arturia Minilab 3 is the only smaller (and extremely affordable) 25-37 MIDI controllers that has a input that is capable to being multi-assigned.

You can setup the pedal and assign whatever MIDI CC you want, continuous or switch on the M32 with the MIDI assignments:
