Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem
My MacBook specification is the M1pro 2tb 32ram. I get such a message even though it's only a track configuration with 3 piano strings and 4 strings. I wonder if I'm using the Logic Pro wrong. Buffer size is max, cpu and memory are relaxed. I bought a MacBook for heavy work, but even a smaller number of virtual instruments than I expected is too much. Why is that? Expert comments, please.

You should easily have up to a 100 virtual instrument tracks in Logic with this config.
- With M series, audio buffer in Logic should be small 64-256 max
- Does Logic and all your other plugins run natively or under Rosetta?
- What is your audio interface?
- Which specific plugin shows you this pop-up?

Ad. 1 then set it to 128 instead
Ad. 2 cool
Ad. 3 cool
Ad. 4 Komplete Kontrol is not yet compatible with Sonoma (if that’s what you have) and it’s buggy as hell.
My life is pretty much solved as it is, thank you. Unless this was an English auto translator error, I got the impression that you do not want to be helped. No problem.

OK then. My opinion is if Komplete Kontrol is the only plugin which causes trouble then it’s not your computer or Logic, it’s Komplete Kontrol which is buggy. Are your other plugins working correctly?
Also, buffer of 1024 in Logic with M1 processor is completely unnecessary. Set it to 128 and see if there is any difference.

That's a bug that used to appear before the last Logic update when MIDI 2 was selected in MIDI options in Logic. Try updating if you need to, and also try unchecking the MIDI 2 box

Thank you for your interest.
1. Set it to 1024 when using a virtual instrument.
2. It runs.
3. It's the Apollo Twin.
4. This is kcomplete control.
I hope this answer will help you solve your life.

Thank you very much for your answer. That's right, I used a translator.
I am sorry that I am not fluent in English.
Thank you again. My mac osx is Ventura.
I'm worried that the translation will be weird again.

The programs I use are waves, izotope, ni14u, spitfire. Overall, I feel like I'm working with a heavy feeling. I first noticed that buffer size 128 is enough. Thank you.

I deselected midi2 after listening to your advice. I haven't felt any particular changes yet, but I'll keep using it as it is now. Thank you for your reply.

Anyone get an answer for this yet please let us know

Deselect MIDI 2 (if it's just Komplete Kontrol) - it doesn't work yet in Logic anyway
If it's Komplete Kontrol loading another plugin then we need more details (saw your over thread now so I assume you were referring to Battery?)

I think I read your comment earlier where it said to Deselect midi 2 mine actually was already turned off. I actually turned it on battery started doing the same thing and then I turned it off and it stopped. Currently, it’s working again, but the whole komplete kontrol thing just keeps crashing logic

Yeah in your case it’s not MIDI 2 but an unstable plugin - possibly Battery and/KK

yeah that’s what it looks like. I put in a support ticket but it doesn’t seem like they’re gonna get back to me. This kind of sucks because I’m in the middle of Eminem sessions and there’s two songs that basically have to re-create everything and that’s not gonna work.

I know, if you can downgrade to 3.31 or even 3.3.0 then you can try that - but don't go lower if you have a MkIII keyboard as it won't be compatible with the updated firmware (assuming it is updated)
Otherwise the bug is now reported so hopefully a fix will be in the works as soon as the cause is identified
