Can I make the middle of my three pedals (Roland RPU-3 Electronic Keyboard Pedal) a Sostenuto pedal?

And, what can I do with 'Assign 1' and 'Assign 2' pedal inputs?

There appear to be four inputs for pedals on the S88 MK3. Am I right? Sustain: Expression: Assign 1: Assign 2.

I would recommend experimenting on that.

Search around the automation and pedals inside your hardware and software!

Let me know how it went! :)

    Dong that. :-)

Ableton Live 11, not that I can see that it'll help with this question. lol

I'll keep looking. It seems Google hasn't caught up with the MK3 quite yet. All the answers relate to previous versions and say NO. Only sustain is available.

Well, you can record any midi track and only increase the duration for some of the notes only by using piano roll.

That is nearly the same effect as a sostenuto.

Let me know if you are satisfied with the idea!

@Richard Adkins I'm not sure how to set this up, these pedals are not officially supported (not meaning they will not work). I'm wondering if this thread would be useful to you: S88 triple pedal with half-pedaling support?
