Traktor X1 MK3 Swapped Buttons (Abs/Rel modes)
Hi,
I'm playing around with the new Traktor X1 MK3 and have it configured for Number Buttons 3-4 to work as Abs/Rel modes switch.
I realized that the blue dot in the controller is the inverse for what is showing on screen.
For example, if I'm playing DVS on Absolute mode, the Number Button on the LEFT side is bright. I expected it to be the inverse and more like the information on screen. If I have Absolute mode ON I should see the button on the RIGHT bright, indicating that Absolute mode is actually ON.
Is that by design? Because if so, the buttons should be called Rel/Abs (Relative mode on the left and absolute mode on the right) just like the information on decks.
Another observation is regarding the order of hot cues on settings menu. I'm not sure if it is just me, but I believe would be easier to "transpose" Shift/Push and Numbers columns on settings. I know there is a lot of research before putting a product like this on the streets, but this is just my suggestion. I attached an image explaining my idea.
Current settings menu (left) and my suggestion (right):
Thank you.

Attaching your TSI would help in solving your issue. If I had to gess then I'd say invert the values on those new commands.

Hi. I don't have any TSI file. I'm using the X1 MK3 straight out of box. Then, I assume this is the standard mapping. Thank you.

Sorry, I don't own a DVS system to test this and provide any other info about how X1 works with it.
As a work around you could try to remap with Controller Manager where you can control (invert) the LED feedback on all buttons. Good luck!
