Komplete Audio 1 requires USB unplug/replug after sleep or reboot
I recently replaced my ancient, venerable Komplete Audio 6 with a new Komplete Audio 1. It works great as expected. Computer is a Macbook Pro 2021, M1 chip Sonoma 14.1.2.
However when it sleeps or reboots the Komplete (USB) is disconnected, and requires unplugging/replugging to connect again. The device disappears from the pulldown of sound devices but immediately appears and works after re/plug.
This started with the Sonoma update. I realize this probably isn't Native Instruments doing but an suggestions on workarounds? Is this a widespread problem, or only me?
Does the new MFi-certified USB stuff implicate cables?

So every morning I have to unplug/replug? That's most annoying and will lead to excess wear on connectors.
Oh, I assume this is Apple's doing, not NI.
If Traktor (and Ableton Live!) ran on linux/unix I'd ditch Apple tomorrow. (Windows is so inexcusably awful I don't even consider it.) I understand security needs, and graciously assuming this decision/inability to not attach USB at wake/boot is that, but when it impedes daily use, it needs a work around. Not from NI, though, lol, I'd sure appreciate one!
OK thanks, if NI acknowledges the issue, and it's not a bug with pending fix, I guess this issue is closed. Thanks for the reply!

I mean, as long as this miniscule thing doesn't start some bigger problems, there is nothing to panic for.
Speaking from experience, if I unplugged my MIDI keyboard from my DAW, sometimes it requiers to restart the OS so that I could replug the keyboard again.
It is not the issue, tho.

@tom jennings We can reproduce the issue out of sleep mode. but not when rebooting. Unfortunately very few products are officially compatible with MacOS Sonoma, that could be one part of the issue.
