Sound Stops After A Minute

So I just got my Traktor S4 Mk3 controller for christmas and have really enjoyed playing with it but recently after a minute of the controller being on and a track playing, the sound will just stop even though on the computer its still going. When this happens the controllers pads are on a delay to light up when I add a hot cue. I'll shut the controller down and turn it back on and it will work for about a minute or two before the issue encounters again. Can someone help me? I really want to get back mixing.

I am not sure, but I think I remember reading about a similar problem where it was a hardware defect.
