why do i hear volume in my headphones even if i didnt cue them?

when i put volume on either ones of my decks the sounds goes in my heaphones too, so when i try to hear the other song i wanna put i cant because i hear both at the same time.

Hello,

there is a "mix" knob exactly for that, you have to set it to cue only "to the left", it´s right from the crossfader.

It's often called "mix cue/master" or similar. Try to find it in the manual of your controller.
