When will the S 61 MK be able to work with Luna the same way it works with Abelton?
There's a good chance it will as this is just using the basic MIDI Komplete Kontrol DAW input as controller, not the OSC/HID based deep integration. For me there was minimal setup apart from selecting that input for Controller and obviously the Komplete Kontrol 1 port for keyboard in MIDI inputs
Obviously though I don't know for certain as I don't have a MKIII (yet)
I have a MkII I've been trying Luna with. It doesn't support the deep integration you have in Ableton Live but it allows me to use the transport and jogwheel to play and record and scrub through tracks.
I have the MK 3 S61. I’m hoping it will work with it
Thanks so much for the reply!
Any news on this?
I see that Luna now has multi-outs for VST plugins which really has me interested in being able to utilise my 88 Mk3 with it better.
Not sure if getting the mixer mode running is something NI have to integrate, or UAD themselves. But i'll send a request in to UAD, perhaps anyone else reading this in future should do the same to make sure it's heard? :)
NI Team,
Please! make kontrol s-series mk3 2.0 extended DAW control and accessibility avaible to LUNA
One more to request full integration with Luna, that would be really great.
I was hoping support for NKS would be incentive for UA to work on an integration for Luna 2 but I upgraded yesterday and it still just supports the basic transport controls. However it is regularly being updated - faster than any other DAW at the moment, so I remain hopeful. I would be the only DAW to fully support both NKS and Kontrol so it would make a lot of sense
What NKS support does Luna have then, do you mean if Komplete/Konktakt are on a track the screen will respond and control that plugin?
I use Luna but wasn't aware there was any kind of support there currently beyond the transport.
What I mean is UA plugins now have NKS support - so if they added support for the advanced integration as well it would make it amongst the most comprehensive DAW support for Kontrol available.
