hello newbie here, can i play strummed acoustic as a note instrument, that means when i tap the keys that only the note is played and not the pattern sequence, or the chord progression. if not which guitar libraries are there for it with the same quality? thanks.

You can with most of guitar libraries..Not with the strummed acoustics. AFAIK that one only does patterns and such. Check out picked acoustics if you want an acoustic that plays melodies. I have 3 of the electric guitars and you have the option of playing those in note/melody mode or pattern mode. I ended up using the NI guitars just for patterns and chord progressions and went with another company for solo/melody guitar because it offered a more realistic sound with the additional articulations..and Amplitube 5 for amps and pedals, which i often drop onto other instrument tracks to modify the sound
