Can you recommend a USB-C PSU for the S61 Mk3? Tried a 5V/1.5A and doesn't work. How many extra amps/watts above the specified can I use? Just asking...

Unless one buys an item of a brand name that one trusts then it's always sort of a gamble when choosing something. But you could e.g. ask the person from the other thread if they were satisfied with their purchase , though I can not guarantee that they will answer you ! Or you could check reviews at Amazon...

You are very welcome , but please notice that your problem could also be the cable used. Also these things can also be a combination of e.g. a poor PSU and a poor cable where the cable might function just fine with a more powerful PSU. But I couldn't tell you what is what from where I am sitting ! But a more powerful PSU is usually nice to have anyway ! Anyway , as written then the PSU I have mentioned in the other post ought to be more than adequate so if it still do not work with one of them then the likelihood is that it is your cable !
