How to get Convolution Preset wav to Project Folder?
I am working on making a sample instrument in Kontakt 5, and I have a preset for the Convolution reverb that I am using. When I save my instrument as a new .nki file, with samples, the location of the source convolution wav file remains where the preset is stored.
The only way I have found to get the files to be in the instrument project folder is to:
- Copy the relevant convolution files to somewhere under my instrument project folder.
- Find where the presets are stored and rename a folder to break the path
- Then do a batch resave to force Kontakt to find the files within my project folders.
Surely there is a better way??

Maybe you can try to import the instrument from the Files section, but you need the OG Rack View first.
Then search for the same file that contains those samples...

Use a Resource Folder/NKR ?

I suppose that would work. I have never used those before. But it seems like there would be a way for Kontakt to put the needed files under the one library folder structure by default.
