Can't get a sound out of my Komplete Kontrol M32
After a lot of trouble, I'm finally able to access the app for my Komplete Kontrol. I've downloaded some instruments and everything else I need to get started.
I'm trying to follow the A-Series Quick Start instructions, but I'm getting stuck on "First Steps" where I'm told to "Turn the Encoder to ‘Monark’ and press down to select it." I can't figure out how to get to this "Monark."
Any advice? Does this have anything to do with not seeing the right window? I'm not seeing the "Komplete Kontrol" window with "Library" and "Files" tabs.
Basically, I think I need a more basic set of instructions!
Thanks

Monark is a Reaktor ensemble, a synthesizer. To play it, you need either the free Reaktor Player, either Reaktor Full Version, so make sure you have them installed. They should appear in your Native Access! :-)

It is already very basic, it can not be more simpler!

Thanks for that clarification. I installed Reaktor Player, which does allow me to find Monark. But I still can't actually seem to play anything on the keyboard.
I suppose the instructions are very basic if they work, but since they don't for me, it's hard to know how to proceed. Any further instructions? Or a link to a more thorough instruction manual. I've played only acoustic instruments before, so this is brand new.
Thanks

Ok, lets start simple: :-)
Every program (application), has it's settings (usually named as "Options", or "Preferences").
In the audio world, for things to work, the very first thing we do, is to go there, and set things the way we like.
The most important settings are the Audio and the Midi setting, because they are those who provide the sound.
What you need to do is to go to Reaktor Audio and Midi settings, and make sure that your gear is selected!
On Midi tabs (both Input and Output), just choose each one of your devices that you want to use and click "On".
On the Audio tab, choose one of the available drivers, the one you want to work with. If there is an ASIO option then always use ASIO drivers! If you have many, then choose the best one, usually the one who is provided by your audio card.
Now, you should have sound! :-)
Next step is, follow the same steps more or less, on every audio/music software you have.

If you're using Komplete Kontrol you'll probably need to enable the keyboard in Preferences/MIDI settings as it doesn't get enabled automatically even though it works for browsing. You might need to change the audio settings too, but if you're hearing the previews that is probably set correctly already.

Thank you! I'm going to try that. I am hearing the previews, so hopefully most of the settings are already set up.
Thanks
