Hi, I don't seem to be able to update Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 7 via Native Access for the last few updates. Every attempt to install the updates resulted in an "installation failed" message.

NI support suggested uninstalling Kontakt and provided a link to the uninstall registry tool which i followed their instructions and now Native Access says Kontakt 7 is available to install but i still get the original error "installation failed" which has left me without the use of Kontakt 7 completely.

They also provided a link to directly download Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 which installed OK but i'm still not able to update it in Native Access to the latest version and get the same "installation failed" message a few seconds after clicking on update button. The older version of Kontakt that appears in my Native Access installs without issue as do other libraries.

Running Windows 11 home (latest updates installed). Latest version of Native Access.

Are there compatibility issues with the S61 Mk 2 since the Mk 3 was launched and the new updated versions of Kontakt 7 and Komplete Kontrol which seem more focused on the Kontrol Mk 3?

Is anyone else having this or a similar issue that can provide some assistance? Native Instruments support don't seem to be able to fix this!!

Cheers.

I got exactly the same problem since I upgraded to a Mac Studio M2 Max – despite the fact that I can use Komplete Kontrol as well as Kontakt 7. Just no update possible via Native Access, showing exactly the same messages like shown above. Are there really no solutions yet?
