Where can I source S4 MK3 upfaders from? Native Instruments will not help!

As Native instruments do not have a UK repair centre, nor will they supply the part, I am trying to source the upfader module.

The controller is not in warranty anymore, so NI have made it near on impossible to get this fixed. The only way is to ship it to them overseas at considerable cost.

In my opinion a fader module is a consumable and should be supplied, and I am sure that this muct be going against the EU right to repair law.

Pretty much after this experience, I'm done buying their products and recommending them to people. This is one unhappy customer!

I think that parts questions for N.I. stuff pop-up from time to time as well as questions about repair diagrams. But I have really no idea as to how successful people are in getting anything. Thanks for your post, I'll check those forums out.

Unfortunately innofader only offers a crossfader upgrade. This fault is with the upfader module. It is an easy swap just like the crossfader, but has the four upfaders together. The only place to get this from is Native Instruments and they won't sell you one.

I am afraid that I knows to little about the subject to even properly know what to look for. E.g. here Miscellaneous DJ Accessories then most of it is Replacement Crossfaders & Knobs but it mentions line faders also in between , but I wouldn't know anything about compatibility either. But one could ask to see if they would be able to supply what you want ! Even Sweetwater sells faders though maybe mostly or only cross - dunno !

Incidentally , I 'scavenged' all the latest links from a discussion over at Reddit , and Reddit can be very useful if you can manage to pick the right sub-Reddit ! 🤔

I just asked German Thomann.de at behalf of you for the availability of an upfader for Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 and their answer were this :
