Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk1 tempo slider behaving logarithmically instead of linearly
I have just bought a very old and beaten-up Traktor Kontrol S4 MK1, I am pretty handy when it comes to electronics and I have taken it apart and replaced a few of the switches that were knackered, (both play buttons, all the cue buttons) but I didn't realise until I've just put it all back together and plugged it into Traktor, that the leftmost Tempo slider is behaving very strangely.
When the hardware slider is in the middle position, the software slider in Traktor shows as only about 1/4 of the way up, to get the software slider to register as halfway, the physical slider needs to be about 80% of the way up. It's almost as if the slider is behaving logarithmically rather than linearly. I've confirmed this isn't a traktor specific problem in midi mode with Ableton, which exhibits the exact same behaviour.
Any ideas/suggestions? It looks like getting my hands on a replacement slider is going to be near impossible, I've tried blasting the slider with a load of contact cleaner but that hasn't made any difference,

Happy to report I was able to fix this. I bent a paper clip into a hook and ran it up and down the fader at an angle, I managed to get a load of dust and ****** out of the slider and now it works flawlessly, seems like it was interfering with the contacts
