13.6.1 update - complete wreckage of everything NI

So... 13.6.1 update. I foolishly installed this update last night on a working 13.6 installation and all hell has broken loose with everything NI. Almost all my file paths (that worked yesterday) show up as invalid, nothing will reinstall.

I have given NA and the daemon access, as well as given read-and-write permissions to the drives.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have a CCC backup so I'm hoping to be able to roll back, but this is really crazy.

Any tips/solutions would be great.

You should create a custom folder for the plugins that are NI related.

Then, go to the File Management and change the location of VST or VST3 into this desktop folder you just created.

I have the same problem and also I can't open native access at all, is there anyway to access file management without being able to access native access?
