Mashine Pads

I was wondering if the pad on the MK3 can be replaced or fixed? I have had mine for awhile so it has a lot of milage on it; Anyway, The pads are pretty much useless, not all of them but enough to make the work flow a little different to adapt to.

Seen a few you tube vids where a guy replaces the membrane that runs underneath the pads .. however he could not obtain the spare direct from NI support so used a part that was produced by a company not affiliated with NI... upshot was after his repair it didn't work properly. Making me think get NI to fix it.
