Guitar Rig 5 not working, seemingly all of a sudden

Hi all,

I opened a session recently in which I had several instances of Guitar Rig 5, and for some reason it says my "serial number is incorrect" - and when trying to "activate" it, an error message comes up. I tried to reinstall through Native Access, and still the same error occurred.

The only thing I did differently was just before the issue started, I installed and started using Komplete Kontrol - and may have tweaked some settings in Komplete Kontrol + Kontakt in that wormhole ? But nothing I thought that would lead to this.

Disregarding that you by some strike of confusion could have logged into the wrong account (it apparently do happen) , then the only obvious suggestion I can think of would be that you could try downgrading to Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/17840/komplete-kontrol-2-9-6-last-vst2-supported-version

Apparently a lot users have had a terrible lot o trouble after upgrading to K.K. 3.x.x and for some users then also the troubles have continued after reverting to Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6. If your troubles continues after downgrade then at the moment I would suggest contacting Install support here: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_install
