Kontakt 6 Full/7 Player+ Mac Studio M1 Ventura 13.9 Instability in Logic Pro 10.7.9
Hello,
I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this:
Just 3-4 instances of Kontakt 6 Full or Kontakt 7 Player in Logic Pro 10.7.9 is causing severe playback issues in the form of glitching, crackling, and general erratic behavior.
It's maxing out the last core of the CPU without utilizing any of the other cores.
I have already performed a clean reinstall of everything on my system with latest updates, optimized Logic settings to make sure processing threads are set to 10, 256 buffer size, medium buffer range, multithreading to playback only and full disk access.
I also made sure no other applications are running in the background.
I'm not sure if this is a Logic issue, a Kontakt issue, or a combination of both.
All other virtual instruments and plugins by other manufacturers work fine within Logic.
Another note is that it's an inconsistent issue. Logic was using all cores yesterday, but today, just the one core is working.
Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated

The default way is to install one Kontakt.
It's really equal 6 or 7 and not in parallel beside full/player.

Hi Paule,
Do I uninstall both then reinstall 6 full? I need it to run all my non player libraries.
Thanks.

I wonder if the culprit is Kontakt 7.6.1:
