Maschine Mk3 buttons, pads and dials don't respond

Returning after a long time away so this may be an obvious problem I don't understand. Maschine lights all lit, drum kit loaded from the software browser, screens show the loaded kit and all 16 pads lit up. None of the pads, none of the buttons and none of the dials on the controller respond. It's not a sensitivity issue. Any help solving this problem will be greatly appreciated.

First thing I would try is to reinstall its drivers

Hello, I have had this problem for a very long time.

It shows up for me under Windows 11 and Windows 10.

If I turn the controller off once while the DAW is running and then turn it back on again, the buttons and knobs work correctly again. Unfortunately, I've never been able to determine exactly what the problem is. I've had this problem for probably two years on all my connected computers.

No idea what causes it. Only switching it off and on again helps... even if my speakers absolutely don't like it.

Maybe someone else has the problem or even a solution for it?

Thank you for the suggestion. Reinstalling the drivers worked! . . . sort of. Solved the buttons, pads and knobs not working but the Komplete database wasn't available in the software or hardware. Deleted the db files, reloaded and let the db rebuild. Worked, but now the Maschine screens only showed the opening "Maschine" screens. What in the world is going on? Going to shut everything down, uninstall everything, do a fresh install and see what happens.

Fresh install worked. System is working as it should. Thanks again for putting me on the right path with the suggestion to reinstall the drivers.
