The Process of Installing NI and Izotope Products on a second computer

Hi,

I would like to know the correct procedure on using 2 computers with the above products.

Both will be independent of each other.I was told I can have 2 computers but to register it under one account but I am not sure how this plays out.Do i do an install process like I did for the older first compter which I will be continuing to use.I dont want to transfer from one to another and I dont want to install samples to an external drive.When I download products from Native Access to the second computer will this interfere in any way with how the first computer runs NI.Obviously the Drive letters in some cases will be different for samples and possibly for izotope.Also regarding sample libraryI suppose I will have to download the entire library again as I probably will not be able to copy and paste to the second computer.I cant get my head around how to keep both computers distinct from each other with one account.

Can you assist?

Native Access will work exactly as in your other computer: you enter with your account and you’ll find all your products to install. Nothing special to do.

For izotope…unluckily I don’t know what to tell you: I can’t even login to my account anymore. Trying it it now opens auth.native-instruments.com but it doesn’t accept my NI credentials. Nor the credentials for my izotope account

IZotope should work with your iZotope login, I just have to bypass Safari trying to autofill my NI details and enter the iZotope login manually

It’s not working for me even entering details manually. With none of the 2 credentials.

Maybe I have a different problem

Thank you for the reply.I will attempt the issue later today.However I know that I can access my izotope and NI account even on the computer that has not got the NI or izotope installed yet.Interesting to see what happens.Will keep you informed.

You mentioned 2 credintials.Do you mean NI and Izotope and /or 2 different accounts for NI and Izotope?

Also in my enquiries to NI about a second computer they merged my accounts? I am waiting to see what that means.In addition I purchased Izotope before it was bought by NI.

Yeah maybe you need to do the forgot pass word thing? It definitely works for me and has for a while now.

Did you have to download all your sample libraries from Native access again on the second computer.Is there no provision to just copy and paste all samples from first computer?

About downloading: in the case of instruments libraries you can use the locate function of NA instead of reinstalling them. For applications and expansions, you have to reinstall them.

About the 2 credentials, yes, I meant the NI and the izotope ones. But don’t worry: since you can log in, you have no problems. This is another case
