Hot Cues

I would like to create one or two hot cues to avoid having to drag and drop: 1) put a song I'm previewing into a deck; and 2) put a song from the playlist into a deck. I see the correct section of the preferences but can't figure out the options. Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand.

Do you mean shortcuts / mapping buttons to load a track? Or do you mean hot cue?

Hot cues are markers within a track, to which you quickly can jump to.

Most controllers have already a button to load a track into a deck. But of course you can map that yourself as well. Are you just using traktor with a keyboard?
