Stradivari Cello now useless

In January of 2022 I purchased the Stradivari Cello.. Didn't use it for a while. NOw I get around to using it and it turns out it is no longer compatible with Kontakt 6. To upgrade to Kontakt 6.8

I need a to upgrade my entire computer in order to accomodate Kontakt 6.8 or above.

I'm on Mac Mojave v 10.14.6.

Am I misreading something or what?

According to this page, Kontakt 6.8 should be compatible with your version of Mojave.

However, it sounds to me as if you may be affected by the following situation instead:

Another solution (if what said by Monochrome isn’t the case) could be to ask to support the installers of the latest versions working with the computer/OS you have now. It would be a shame to update something you don’t need/want to update
