How can I script a Knob from an other Scriptslot to my Main Script?

Hi there, how can I script a Knob from an other Scriptslot like Slot 3 to my Main Script?

I tried so many things to get the Portamento Time to my main script I have the Knob and a On/Off Button but nothing happens when I click it.

Can anyone help me with this?
