Does Reaper dislike Kontakt or is it the other way around?

I have finally learned to save my reaper session every time i open a new instance of Kontakt because at least 50% of the time it will crash the session. I have hundreds of plugins and none of them do this. Is there some sort of Reaper setting that will stop this from happening? I have the full version of Kontakt 7 and use Windows 10. I'd suggest using/reverting to Kontakt 6 if you have access to it. Kontakt 7 is hot garbage.

My A25 keyboard has neve worked properly with Reaper. I have tried NI advice, Reaper forum advice. Nothing works. Some times it does partially sometimes not at all. Neither with NKS or Komplete kontrol interface.

@vgmrmojo have you tried using reaKontrol?

If not, you really should. It instantly makes the Komplete Kontrol keyboards vastly more functional with Reaper + NI products.

Hi. I use reaper too. Could you give some more detiles of scenario in which kontakt crashes which come to your mind and seem important for the matter? Is it only fx on track, in which moment of use kontakt crashes?
