Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 with Phono Turntables 2x Technics 1210 MK2

Hi at all.

I am planning to buy a Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 and would like to integrate 2x Technics 1210 MK2 turntables.

As far as I understand the turntables run only on channel A + B. Is it possible to use the channels C + D for normal mixing instead of a remix Deck? Is it possible to configure it in Traktor Pro? Maybe at input routing?

Then I would not always have to switch between phono and line input by using Shift-EXT . My desired configuration for the mixing channels would then be from left to right:

Channel C: Mixing Deck control for Audio files on Traktor Pro

Channel A: Mixing Deck for left Turntable (no DVS)

Channel B: Mixing Deck for right Tirntable (no DVS)

Channel D: Mixing Deck control for Audio files on Traktor Pro

You can route the phono in to whatever deck you want.

You can change any deck between normal, live input, dvs, remix as much as you like. Just press on the deck letter.

I think you still have to select "phono" Shift + A with every fresh start.
