My Z1 keeps turning off when I assign it as the output audio in Abelton or Traktor.
My Z1 keeps turning off when I assign it as the output for Abelton and Traktor. When I hook up my X1 to traktor it asks what decks it wants assigned, but then resets. This only happens when I use my new Apple M2 Max computer. They work fine with my old MacBook Pro and Dell.

Which version of the Z1 do you have? The original one with connection for power supply or the later one with only USB?
If you have the first one, are you using it only through USB power or also with the power adapter? Does it make any difference?
Just to rule out the USB port on M2 not delivering enough power, have you tried plugging it through an USB powered hub?

I have the first one with a power supply, and I am using a powered hub. In addition to that my X1 goes through the process of selecting a deck setup and then it resets itself. Totally ****** everything up. They both work fine hooked up to a computer that doesn't have a USB-C port. I think that the connection and needing a direct connection with a cable that has both USB-C and USB. I ordered some from DJ TechTools.com. Hopefully that fixes it.

I have the first one and it's through a powered USB-c to USB hub. I think I need direct cables USB-c to USB. I ordered some from DJ Tech Tools.com. Hopefully that will fix it. The Z1 and X1 work fine through a USB powered hub MacBook Pro from 2013.
