Komplete 13 select instruments not found in Reaper?

Hi, I am a beginner with this stuff so this question will probably be very basic. I purchased Komplete 13 select thinking I could load the VSTs into reaper and make some virtual drum/synth/keys/piano instruments, but when I install something like the drumlab, it doesn't install into the VST folder, it installs into a folder where it has files with the .nki extension. I am not able to find a way to use the .nki files in reaper, so basically this $199 purchase is not useful to me right now. Did I buy the wrong thing or am I missing something in how to use Komplete 13 select?

You did not buy the wrong thing but you would need to install the application these instruments require. For example, Drumlab is a Kontakt instrument which means you also need to install Kontakt 6 Player and load it from there.
