Reinstall issue

My issue is now resolved but I didn't know how to delete my post. 😃

I recently attempted to uninstall Kontact Factory Library via Windows add/remove programs as I wanted to reinstall it to an external hardrive, but windows claimed it could not uninstall it because it had already been uninstalled!. However, the folder was still in its original location. I googled it and it was suggested to delete it. I did this and attempted to reinstall in native access but it failed because it could not uninstall the old version. I am confused, as it does not appear anywhere on windows. Also, and this is even more confusing. It still appears in kontakt 7 and still works!!. Can anyone help me with this please.

Hi.

The install path for factory library is windows/c/users/public/documents. I had deleted it but it still appeared in native access and Kontakt 7. I have actually solved it via good old google. There was still a factory library folder in Hkey local machine via regedit which the article suggested to delete also. This apparently worked for numerous users with the same issue and luckily for Me also. It has now disappeared from kontakt 7 and is in the available section in native access where it belongs. Have you tried to change the Installationpath in Native Access first?

Preferences => File Management

And exaclty wich folders in wich location did you delete?

NI uses multiple folders
